About Kristi
A Seattle area native, Kristi began teaching group exercise classes in 1989 and never stopped. After graduating from Pacific Lutheran University with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education with a concentration in Exercise Science, Kristi began her very successful career in personal training. She received her Health/Fitness instructor certification from ACSM as well as Group Fitness Instructor certifications from ACE and AFAA. She describes the gym as her second home, and loves motivating her clients and class participants to develop their own passion for health and wellness.
Fitness has been an integral part of Kristi's life. She has competed in several fitness contests and has gone on to share her passion as an instructor in the fitness trainer program at Ashmead College. In April of 2006, Kristi helped open the Washington campus of the National Personal Training Institute, where she worked as the Director of Operations until January 2008. Currently she is instructing group exercise classes at Denali Fitness in Seattle and All Star Fitness. She continues to teach regional workshops on various topics in health and wellness.
After having her first child in February 2008, Kristi jumped right back into the gym with her usual enthusiasm. Having gone through pregnancy and post-partum exercise, she looks forward to working with other women who are going through the same journey.
